چکیده

Information on the nature and magnitude of genotype by environment interaction that affects performance genotypes is essential to enhance quality improvement wheat. This study was conducted at five locations in southern Ethiopia using 4 replications randomized complete block design evaluate its effect grain bread wheat genotypes. The objective this determine x (GEI) production for some traits (grain protein content (GPC), gluten (GLTN), zeleny index (LI), TKW HLW). In twenty were conducted. Combined analysis variance showed highly significant differences (P < 0.001) among environments, their interactions all included study. GEI indicated not consistent over environments; performed well but poorly other locations. (40.20%), (29.89%) (14.55%) made contribution total treatment SS HLW which major variation due trait. For GPC, GEI, a 34.61%, 17.32% 13.59% respectively. ZI, (51.10%), (18.84%) (11.24%) observed. trait, high environment. Interpreting Genotype × Environment Interaction in Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Using Nonparametric Measures

The objectives of this study were to compare nonparametric stability measures, and to identify promising high-yield and stable bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes in 7 environments during 2003-2005 in the central Black Sea region of Turkey. The bread wheat genotypes (20 advanced lines and 5 cultivars) were grown in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications in 7 different e...

Distribution of gluten proteins in bread wheat (Triticum aestivum) grain.

BACKGROUND AND AIMS Gluten proteins are the major storage protein fraction in the mature wheat grain. They are restricted to the starchy endosperm, which forms white flour on milling, and interact during grain development to form large polymers which form a continuous proteinaceous network when flour is mixed with water to give dough. This network confers viscosity and elasticity to the dough, ...

Evaluation of Genotype × Environment Interaction and Grain Yield Stability of Advanced Bread Wheat Cross-bred lines by GGE Biplot Method

Extended Abstract Introduction and Objective: Investigation of the interaction of genotype × environment and identification of stable and high yielding cultivars in different environmental conditions is of great importance in plant breeding. The objectives of this study are to investigate the interaction of genotype × environment using GGE bilpot graphic method in advanced cross-breeding lines...

Effect of ozonation of wheat grain on quality bread factory

Ozonation of wheat grain is a quick and easy process that could be realized during the storage. The ozone is in direct contact with the grain and modifies immediately the properties of the wheat. Stability and resistance of dough were increased with ozonation at 40 ppm in comparative with control sample. The results showed a gradual increase in specific volume of balady bread according to the t...

Effect of Salinity Stress on Grain Yield and Grain Quality in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Lines

The effects of salinity stress on grain quality traits of wheat were investigated using 180 lines of F5 generation in two environments (normal and salinity stress). A randomized complete block designs with three replications was used in each of the environments at the Research Farm of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Station of Isfahan in 2019-2020 cropping season. Grain yield, p...
